Blood Types
Sometimes when there has been a crime blood from the victim is left at the crime scene. Forensic scientists then will take the blood and use it for DNA samples. This can be used to identify the person who committed the crime. To take the blood to test it they will use a cotton swab to pick up some blood. They would then take it to the lab and then use a microscope to look at it. The blood types are O positive, O negative, A positive, A negative, B positive, B negative, AB positive, AB negative.
