Case Study of a Crime

Case Study of a Crime

A case study is where they look at a crime scene for a long period of time and study what has happened and see if they can figure out how it happened. They collect data and analyse information, they then report the results. Here is a photo of what they do in a case study.
They look at information they already have
.

They also take photographs and look carefully at them when they get back to the lab.

Microscopes

Microscopes

M
icroscopes are used when forensic scientists want to find out someone's DNA. They put something from the body like a hair or blood under the microscope and then zoom in and out. The word 'microscopic' means small, it is not visible to people unless if you use a microscope.
